International Guitar Night
The 2nd UK tour of this premier mobile guitar festival based in the USA will be from Thursday 25 September to Sunday 12 October 2008 (inc). In 2007 during the first UK tour, the players made a lot of new friends over here and impressed enormously with their sheer musical skill and desire to bring high quality guitar playing to a wide array of audiences from the Scottish Highlands, via Ireland to the south of England.
The new 'cast' for 2008 has all the attributes of the last tour and we are again excited by the line-up which is truly superb with lots of variety and loads of potential for great on-stage interaction between very different stylists.
The 2008 line-up is:
Miguel de la Bastide an amazing (really!) flamenco player originally from the West Indies but now living in Canada.
Brian Gore the IGN founder; toured the UK with IGN 2007
Andy Sheppard a young Canadian steel string star, (not the British jazz player!) and not only a great guitarist but a fine songwriter too.
Cecilia Zabala a great singer/guitarist from Argentina.
