Update Feb 2007 : Frankie Gavin wows Celtic Connections!
Frankie Gavin, probably generally accepted now as the best of the traditional Irish fiddle players brought his wonderful new five-piece band, Hibernian Rhapsody, to Celtic Connections on Sunday 21 January and just blew them away!
The Herald carried a 4-star review of the gig with, apart from Frankie getting pride of place of course, young guitarist Tim Edey receiving an extremely favourable mention.
For a demonstration of sheer musical exuberance and skill, watch out for Frankie and Tim touring in England and Scotland in May 2007. Not many out there doing it this way!
